Already more than one hundred years ago, the first tourists dreamt of the boat trip through the unique water labyrinth which stretches through a mosaic from woods, small meadows and fields. Here is the biotope of a various animal and plant world, among this many species, which can be found no more elsewhere. Thus Spreewald belongs to the UNESCO world heritance since 1991.
